Blue in Green was established in 2019 by Shawna Craig and Jason Mohlenbrock. Shawna, an ASU education graduate, brings 5 years of teaching experience in the Creighton district, while Jason has a strong background in music education and piano instruction, having taught private piano lessons for 13 years and created successful music programs in other educational institutions.
Initially attempting to offer lessons for various instruments and age groups, the founders quickly identified their strengths and aligned educational expertise with a specific need: kids’ piano lessons. This focus allowed them to dedicate all their efforts to creating a comprehensive and innovative piano lesson program tailored to young learners. Blue in Green distinguishes itself by employing teachers who are all employees of the school, ensuring uniformity in curriculum and lesson structure.
