About Phoenix Zoo

The Phoenix Zoo is home to more than 3,000 animals and 400 species! As it is the largest privately-owned zoo in the country, you can explore the zoo all day and will always find a new species to see and learn about!
Visit The Africa Trail and see many of the most popular animals in the world, including lions, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, white rhino, African painted dogs, ostrich, gazelle, and a baboon. In addition to seeing amazing and exotic animals, Phoenix Zoo offers a variety of programs and camps to keep on learning and having fun!
