About Superstition Mountain Museum

The Superstition Mountain Museum will teach you and the family everything you need to know about the history and folklore of the Superstition Mountains, Apache Junction, and the surrounding region.
Perhaps nowhere in the entire country is there an area full of history and legend as the 160,000-acre Superstition Mountain range located in the Tonto National Forest in Central Arizona.
Learn everything about the people who lived in this area 9000 years ago, and the later inhabitants which include the Salado, Hohokam, and Apache Indians, followed by Spanish explorers and Mexican Gold Miners.
This is one of the many cool museums to visit in Arizona!
