Families with young kids are welcome on this special program to have fun with various interactive approaches. Every Monday and Thursday, you will find a nonjudgmental space open for kids after school. Activities as diverse as crafts, STEAM challenges, and games all focus on developing young kids creativity, exploration, and teamwork skills. The Peoria Public Library is a Certified Autism Center, so bring your kids on the spectrum to have fun and learn in a safe environment. Activities may vary from session to session.
One of the most important activities for kids and adults: reading. Stimulates children’s imagination and creativity, develops early literacy skills, and the creation of new worlds, all of these and more is what reading provides for kids. Fortunately, there are many libraries in Arizona with nice spaces and lovely reading activities. If you don’t know which one to choose, visit our blog on The Best Libraries in Arizona For Kids.
